Windows Intune to be renamed to Microsoft Intune

Yesterday Microsoft announced the renaming of Windows Intune to Microsoft Intune later this year. Read the complete announcement here!

IOS 8 support added to ConfigMgr through Intune Extensions

Microsoft released an update for Configuration Manager 2012 R2 via the Windows Intune Extensions, the update adds support for the newly released IOS 8 operating system. Read more on the Extensions here. Read more on the update itself here.

Post Configuration Manager 2012 R2 CU3 hotfix KB2990658 released today!

This hotfix is a very welcome hotfix because it adds the ability to instantly retire or wipe a mobile device based on iOS, Andriod and Windows 8.1. Without the hotfix a retire and wipe could require 24 hours to run successfully. Read more on the update here!
